Follow these steps and your forks and shock get to us safe — and back to you dialed.
First — take 5 photos. Snap your clean forks and shock from a few angles before you wrap them. If anything gets banged up in shipping, these are your proof.
Pull the fork guards off. Tape the bolts right onto the guard so they can't get lost. Leave everything else together — we take it apart here.
Pressure wash the fork and shock until it's clean. Then dry it. Do not blast the fork seals — wash around them, not into them.
The shiny fork tubes and the shock shaft scratch easily, so give them a little love. Wrap them well in bubble wrap and tape it down.
Keep both forks together. Wrap the shock on its own. Pack bubble wrap all around so nothing can slide. Seal it, pick it up, and shake it. Hear anything move? Open it and add more wrap.
Fill out your ship-in form — bike, your weight, what you want. It goes right into our system and gives you a TBT Ticket #, so we're set up and ready before your box even lands.
Fill out your work order →You'll get a note back with your TBT Ticket # on it. Print that note and drop it in the box. That ticket is how we match your box to your order — no mix-ups.
And add an Apple AirTag (or Tile / Samsung tag), tied down so it can't rattle around — track your parts the whole trip, there and back.
Tape every seam well. Book the carrier yourself (UPS/FedEx) to the shop address on your ticket, and add tracking + insurance for the value of your parts — it's cheap peace of mind. Text us the tracking when it's on the way. Most jobs are in and out in 2–3 days once they land — then it ships right back.
Go down the list. Every box checked = you're good.
