Build it. Then ride it.
5-Day Technician Certification. Five days at the bench with Travis. Forks, shocks, springs, sag, then a track day at the world famous Glen Helen on the suspension you built. Six seats, the week before Anaheim 1 — book by Nov 15 and your seat at the race is included.
The week
- Mon–Tue: forks. Every mid-valve, base valve and rebound stack comes apart on your bench and goes back together your way. Bike reassembly Tuesday, dinner at Top Golf.
- Wed: shocks. Comp, rebound, adjusters, springs, sag.
- Thu: Glen Helen. Test and tune on what you built, trackside with Travis. (Ride fee paid directly to Glen Helen, their insurance requirement.)
- Fri: by design. Your requests after four days on the bench.
- Sat (optional): the business side. Where to buy parts and why, taking your shop to the next level.
- Then Anaheim 1: book by Nov 15 and your Supercross seat is included — go watch the season open on the suspension knowledge you just earned.
Full itinerary, hotel, what to bring: tbtracing.com. Bring your own bike if you can, and ride it Thursday.

January doesn’t work?
We’re running three or four more classes in 2027, six seats each. Leave your info and you’ll get the dates before they go public, so you can grab a seat first.
Want something shorter?
We’re building a 2-Day Intro to Suspension for riders who want a leg up on the competition. Day one in the classroom: what every spring, clicker and valve does. Day two at Glen Helen: test and tune on your own bike (you pay Glen Helen’s ride fee directly, their insurance requirement). Add your name and tell us what it’s worth to you.
What the grads say ★★★★★
“Gave me the confidence and the skills to do suspension on my own.”
“The class gave me the knowledge and skills to do anything with suspension in my garage.”
“Gave me the ability to bleed a shock manually anywhere without special bleeding tools.”
Why six seats
Suspension isn’t learned from a slideshow. With six students Travis is at your bench for the hard parts, and you leave having built forks and shocks yourself, ridden them, and tuned them off real feedback. Four classes a year, at HQ only, since 1992.
